ONLINE BOOKING
Make it easy to ask for service.
A customer should be able to explain the problem, share the address, and request a helpful appointment without a confusing form.
In development · workflows described here are planned. Availability, supported devices, and limits have not been verified.

Ask only what is needed to start
Name, contact details, service address, trade, issue, and preferred time are usually enough for initial intake. Extra questions can appear when the service type requires them. Make emergency contact instructions visible for urgent issues.

Separate a request from a confirmed appointment
A customer choosing a time is not always a confirmed booking. Availability may depend on technician skill, travel, stock, and service area. Use clear words such as "request received" until the office has accepted the job.

Make it work on phones
Homeowners often request help while standing next to a broken appliance or leaking fixture. Large fields, legible labels, useful error messages, and an accessible confirmation screen matter more than decorative widgets.

Route requests to the right team
The office needs enough context to prioritize the request. Spam controls, duplicate detection, consent choices, and safe handling of attachments should be part of the intake design.
Example to try: A homeowner needs an AC repair tomorrow. The request should say whether the time is a preference or a confirmed appointment and what happens next.

A practical checklist
- Request service from a phone with a realistic address and urgent issue description.
- Distinguish preferred time from a technician-confirmed appointment.
- Verify errors and field focus when required information is missing.
- Test how a duplicate or suspicious request is reviewed by staff.
Good questions
What else would
you like to know?
Does booking guarantee an arrival time?
Only if a confirmed appointment is explicitly issued. A request alone does not reserve a technician.
Can customers book after hours?
A request form may be available at any hour, but response and dispatch hours must be stated accurately.
Can the booking form be embedded on my website?
Embedding and API support must be verified for the current release.
